Stepping on items creates "indoor" effect.
Need More Info, NormalPublic

I've found stepping on some dropped items in the world will create an "indoor" ambient effect.

I.E. I walked over several human meat pieces in the middle of a field near Stary. When I did this, the wind/rain sounds cut out as though I were indoors, and the footstep sound was replaced with the sound of walking on a wood floor.

Operating System
Windows 10 x64
Steps To Reproduce

Place an item (I've only tested with human meat and a taloon backpack) in an outdoor area.

Walk on item(s) to experience a change in ambient sound.

Hello BuddyFox and thank you for the report.
We have been testing the issue internally but unfortunately we were unable to reproduce the issue so far. Is it possible that there has been an object that is a part of the environment which could have caused this issue? And if you are able to reproduce the issue with the meat/backpacks again, can you try to make a video for us?

I will try to make a video when I get a chance. One question before I continue though. This is a bug I found in the last .63 stress test. I get the sense that I may have posted this bug in the wrong place. But I wasn't sure as there is no specific category for .63 bug reports.

If I've posted here in error please guide me to the correct place and I'll make sure to get it right.

I think this actually occurs when stepping over bodies of animals (and/or players?). I killed a chicken and cut it up and noticed if you stand on where it's body was this bug occurs. Not the items.

Thank you for the additional information.
Can you please check if you experience this issue on the latest version as well and let us know here?
