I tried shooting a flare on the ground which turns out to put out the light source. However, the smoke doesn't stop.

  1. Shoot it until it's ruined.
  1. The light goes out but the smoke is still there.

We have confirmed the issue and it has been scheduled for a fix.

The issue has been fixed internally and once the fix gets on the Steam version, the flare should stop emitting smoke after approximately one minute.
