Got this at 0.63 stress-test version too.
When I'm launching DayZ at my external monitor I have only 2 options - native resolution (in my case it 1280x1024) and windowed mode.
Only one way to change it - change resolution on display settings.

Steps To Reproduce
1)Connect additional monitor to laptop.
2)Make it main screen
3)Launch DayZ
4)Go to option and try to change resolution. You will see 2 options only

At Arma 3 (and another games) I can change my res. on external screen in game options normally.

Is the native resolution for the external screen you are using 1280x1024? As DayZ allows you to use only resolutions that are native to your monitor - this is not a bug but a design choice.
