Description

started up my game yesterday, and my game's resolution was scaled down, though it hadn't been changed in the settings, it was still on 1080x1920. It went back to normal once, but after restarting the game the resolution was downscaled again.
Could this be caused by the NVidia-AMD incompatibility (have an AMD Radeon GPU, I'm relating to NVidia GameWorks)

Enable "morphological filtering" for Arma 3 in the Radeon Settings

Additional Information

doesn't happen in Launcher
using just one mod: Eden Extended Objects (may not be the cause of this, launching the game without mods still results in a scaled down resolution)
bug affects steam overlay/steam messages/steam FPS count resolution too
not affected by ingame Graphics Settings

"NVidia-AMD incompatibility"

That might be it. Although you should try to update your Graphics drivers to see if that doesn't fix it.

Okay, this is wierd. In the process of downloading the newest drivers for my GPU, which takes like 0.5 hrs because my internet is the worst, I resetted my specific settings for all games in the Radeon Settings App and now the resolution seems to be back to normal, even with mods enabled. So it seems to be something in the GPU Settings??

Interesting, that is odd. Perhaps testing it after you update the drivers is worth a try. Let me know if that changed anything. If everything after that is OK then I will close this ticket.

Wait, what? I installed the newest driver version possible, and now it's broken again. I'll check the Radeon Settings.

Okay, I'm very certain that it's caused by the "morphological filtering" Option in the Radeon Settings.

Also found this in the AMD Forums(marked the important part):

"Morphological Filtering

Morphological Filtering is a Shader based, post process Anti-Aliasing technique that can be used in combination with the three AA modes mentioned above.

Morphological Filtering can have a lower impact on FPS than other AA modes available within Radeon™ Settings, however in some situations it may introduce a subtle blur to the image.

In the example below, the image on the left has Morphological Filtering applied. The image on the right has no Morphological Filtering applied and has more jagged edges."

..So this explains it, I guess. Was just the (not really) "subtle blur"
