I used to be able to play this game with and without mods so it shouldn't be due to system settings.
The crash happens 100% with or without mods.

I have the following parameters checked as these were recommended when i searched for solutions: Show Static Background in Menu
(I Thought this one would work since the one mod changed the moving background images, though, the game doesn't work without mods now,)
Skip Logos at Startup, Force window mode.

I've tried to load with each mod individual to see if there were conflicts.
I've unsubscribed and resubscribed to each mod.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled at least 4 separate times.
I have verified file integrity at least 2 times on separate installs.

The launcher works with no issues. I was able to load the game recently long enough to change the settings to low to see if that would work. Changing the display settings did not work. I thought the crash may be due to mod conflicts, it doesn't appear so.

The game crashes after the Arma 3 (no logos) loading screen at anywhere from 30-180 seconds in.
Moving the mouse over the three main boxes (singleplayer, editor, etc) often triggers the crash.
I have been able to get far as the map select screen in the editor at times before a crash.
