My friend's character dropped on the ground, dead, with a BattleEye Client message instead of "You are unconscious/dead"

Date: November 3rd, 11:32PM Eastern Time.

My friend and I were walking in the woods. He was carrying a barrel. Suddenly, he dropped to the ground, in a semi-crouch position. I had the option to use CPR on him. Each time I did, his character would stand up and would immediately fall on the ground again.

From his side, he was in his inventory and put his helmet on the ground. His screen went black (this is when I saw him fall to the ground) with this message : "BattleEye Client (Global) Admin BEC: GamingDeluxe.co.uk DayZ SA Servers" (see attached image).

When he exited, I saw his character fall in a more "dead" position, and I had no longer the option to use CPR. He relogged and spawned as a fresh spawn.

Happened twice to him.

Do you know what happened?

Hello Omega98.
Is it possible that the friends character was bleeding/hungry/sick which was causing the unconsciousness? As for the message, currently it is a known issue that the messages from the bottom left status bar appear in the death/unconscious screen. Logging off from unconscious state always leads to death of the character, which is most likely the cause for your friend to respawn as fresh spawn.
