I honestly hate questioning the development of DayZ because I respect the work that the team does and I enjoy the content they put out, but we have extended mags for so many weapons, including the PM73-RAK, AKM, M4A1, Steyr AUG, and more that I can't think of at the moment. But since the AS Val (I know it isn't in the game) and the VSS share the same ammo type depending on the model, then we should have the ability to have 20rnd AS Val/VSS mags. That would also make a much smoother transition for adding the AS Val if it is planned because the mags/sights would be interchangeable like the AK variants and NATO Weapons.
