When the pilot of a helicopter uses the advanced flight model all rotational motion stutters for all non pilot personal. The flight is smooth for the pilot. All translational motion is stutter free. This makes FFV basically useless when using AFM since one is unable to hit anything and makes aiming for the copilot extremely hard unless the copilot applies the work around mentioned below.
The copilot can get rid of the stuttering by temporarily taking over the controls of the helicopter and giving them back to the pilot but this has to be redone every time the copilot exits and reenters the vehicle.
