Heyho there,
After logging in to take a look at the changed Ghillie Suit colours me and my friends realised that they are suffering from severe lightning glitches that completely removed any camouflage you could achieve. The edges of all three Ghillie Suits are black and change colour depending on the current lightning levels on the Server and make them completely stick out.
I made a bunch of screenshots as proof of the glitch.
We tested all three Ghillie's and everyone of them has the same black glitchy edges that almost give them a kinda cell shading look. Changing graphic settings did not change anything and everyone of my 4 friends saw the glitches.
It does not make a different if you play on a Daytime server or a night one.
I made some screenshots to show you what i mean. Unfortunately the lightning glitches i was mentioning are pretty random and depend on different levels of sunlight and it was raining when i captured the screenshots so i can only report some of the other stuff that me and 3 witnesses seen so far with the new Ghillies. Im using the "Woodland Ghillie Suit". But all 3 suffer from the same glitched black edges that make you stick out like a sore thumb:
Here my friend is lying down about 15 feet from me. As you can see you notice him instantly
Here he is crouching about 40 feet in front of me.
Another one, again pretty obvious where he is.
But that's not even the worst part about it. Using the Ghillie Suit actually makes you stand out even more than if you would use Regular clothing.
And just to show you what i mean, here are 2 screenshots my friend made that show just that. In the first picture i'am lying down in the Grass and in the second one I'am crouching without changing positions. Yet i blend in way better than if i would put on a Ghillie Suit. The only thing you can see is the backarea of one of my Boots, that's it.
And that's not everything. The Gunwrap sometimes changes Colours to a light brownish yellow one or just straight up forms a miniature Black Hole. The same can happen with the Ghillie Suit depending on the current Lightning. But as i said, i don't have screenshots of that unfortunately because it way raining when i took them.
Im gonna try to grab more screenshots of the other glitches if i can.
Heres another Screenshot in which the Woodland Ghillie Gunwrap almost turns completely black. It can go even darker than that though but that seems to depend on daytime/lightning status as i mentioned earlier. When my friends and i were testing around we could spot the black rifle at great distances with no problem. It just looks so weird that it catches your Eye Immediately. (150-400M)

And just to reconfirm, all these screenshots were tested with the Woodland Ghillie Camo as you can see here. But every Ghillie Camo is affected.

Splendid! That's good to hear. Should i provide more screenshots of the other glitches i mentioned or are the ones i posted so far enough?
Gunwrap changing colors, ghillie transforming into a square block upon reaching certain distance etc.

Heres how the 3 Ghillies look on the ground. Interestedly enough the Woodland Ghillie Suit doesn't match up with the Headpiece.

Had to sacrifice the last burlap sacks we had just do make a spare Tan Ghillie for the screenshots. Hope it was worth it :<

I hope the gfycat links are fine as well. I just wanted to show how the ghillies performed with a moving cameras at 2 sets of distances. The weird black spots just make them stick out no matter where you are. I could try to shoot more footage if needed. Inside forests,cities,dark patches etc etc.
We already tested them and no matter the terrain they stick out like a sore thumb.

We have done some tweaks to the ghillies internally, the tweaks will appear on the next experimental update if there will be no problems that would prevent us from pushing the update into experimental.

Sounds great! i will look forward to seeing them, thank you. Hopefully it makes it to stable soon so i can re-test them once more, heh. Here's hoping that the tweaks don't make the woodland ghillie too dark so it can be used on lush grass again.

Heh, he surely is. I can't wait to see the new ghillies, hopefully they blend in as good as they did before they got changed.
I think there are issue with some shadows on it... Its looks like there are bad shadow setting on the back of ghillie grass. idk
Yeah that's what i figured based on my research. Here's hoping that they will be good once more after that has been resolved :>
