I am not doing anything special, either my game will freeze for about 30 seconds to a minute and then recover saying "lost connection to host" or it will entirely cease my computer with hard resetting being the only option. I can play the game for 5-10 minute intervals only.

You are incorrect, that file for sure is the AppData folder. If it was the Documents folder you would see the DayZ.cfg file. I will upload it again with a few more files that were created recently.
