Description

I keep getting Application Errors when logging out of servers or attempting to exit the game. This has been happening since .61, but it's happening more prominently in .62.

The errors are happening sometimes during gameplay also, and I just have to relaunch the game to get back up and running. The error numbers change from instance to instance but are all reference memory error codes.

I have zipped up my dxdiag log with 2 screenshots of the errors. I record all the time but when I get these errors it's stopping my shadow play from recording. So the attached zip file is the best I got.

I do have Windows 10, and all of the latest updates are installed. In an attempt to fix it I've:

  • Re-installed the game on the same HDD as well as my backup drive with no resolution.
  • I've updated all sound/video drivers. *I've even performed a clean install where my Nvidia drivers are concerned.
  • I've tried running the game via 32bit as well as 64bit, and still end up with the same errors.
  • All Nvidia settings are set to default, I do not have any special settings for any games that I play.

Steps To Reproduce

Run the game for a while on a similar build, and attempt to exit the game or log off a sever.

I play with my son and a friend from work all with different builds and we're all getting these errors from time to time.

Additional Information

I do have logs saved with screenshots, but I am unable to upload them here because I'm getting "No space left on device" errors too.

please attach the contents of your C:\Users\*username*\AppData\Local\DayZ folder to this ticket. The upload should be working correctly now. (the upload button can be found on the bar at the top of the comment window).

That folder and my dxdiag.log are in the zip file. Also there's been a slight change to the problem. I was able to go to the actual folder of the game (steamapps/common/...etc.) and run the 64bit version as administrator and now I only receive the crash upon exiting the game. Still an Application Error that's a memory reference type error.

{F64557}I wanted to attach a screenshot, and to let you know that I stand corrected apparently! This happened during server join just now while running the 64bit version as administrator like I mentioned above. Not sure if it's worth anything but I was connecting to the join.dayzunderground server.
