I put 3 cow pelts in a barrel along with garden lime and 4 raw cow steak. After I closed the lid and selected "tan pelts", I waited over 20 mins, but the pelts didn't tan. The barrel is currently stuck in the tanning process, so I can't remove anything from it. I don't know if the cow steak interfered with it somehow.

Hello Oghrind and thank you for the report.
We have tested the issue based on your report, and we have confirmed an issue with pelts not being created upon finishing the tanning process. However, we unfortunately did not reproduce the issue with the barrel getting stuck in the tanning process. Does the problem persist even upon relog? And could you try again once your barrel becomes available (upon server restart)/once you get a new one and let us know here if the issue has occurred again?
Regards,
Geez
The problem did persist upon relog. I relogged a couple of times and it was still stuck.
I think the server's persistence was reset, so when I find another barrel, I'll try to reproduce the issue.
So I tried again, but I made sure there were only the 3 cow pelts and the bag of lime, since I thought the steak might have caused it to get stuck tanning the first time. The tanning process finished, but everything in the barrel vanished.
Thank you Oghrind.
The second behaviour you describe is consistent with the results of our testing and the issue is scheduled for a fix. In case you encounter the other issue (with the stuck process) again in the future, please let us know here with all the details you can remember.
Regards,
Geez
Hello Oghrind.
The issue with tanned leather not being created upon tanning animal pelts has been fixed internally and should be fixed on the experimental version already.
