For some reason every time I try to either connect to the drone or get into the jets I can never do so as they are locked with the DLC screen instead of the action. can't find a tutorial or solution out of it

1: Do you have the DLC preordered? If not, that may be why, otherwise...
2: Go into your modlist, you should have a mod simply labeled "Jets". Try turning that on and seeing if it helps.
