Missile Lock on Sound Bug
New, NormalPublic

Description

No Missile Lock on Sounds

When I'm in any air vehicle or on the ground I don't get any sound when I lock onto enemy vehicles or when an AA missile is launched at my air vehicle. If there is no radar that warns of an incoming missile to my aircraft I get no beeping sound, so I die with no warning of any incoming missile. I also don't get any sound when locking onto tanks with AT or get any sound when locking onto air vehicles with AA. I use to get sound but now I don't.

I cant fly any helicopters now because I die with no warning. Yay :D

If I use any lock on weapon I don't get sound when locking onto an enemy, friendly, or empty vehicle. I don't get any notification by sound of incoming missiles with any vehicle ever. I get the same result on any server I'm on, or in the virtual reality I have the same problem.

Additional Information

I did a wipe of my windows a few months back because of what I think was a memory leak with windows. I'm pretty sure this is when it started. I have deleted Arma from my computer and when I reinstall it I still have the problem. I have verified the files in my steam folder still nothing. I have deleted Steam form my computer and when that didn't work I wiped my hard drive and reinstalled windows and I still have the same bullshit. At this point I have no clue what it is, so if anyone has any ideas that would be wonderful because I don't know what to do.

Can confirm in dedicated environment locking tone is not audible when locking on to aircraft from any handheld launcher since patch 1.68. Sometime before patch 1.68 (don't know with patch exactly) I could not lock onto aircraft with handheld launcher at all. This is evoked by scripting command
