Most animals is inpossible to skinn only like 1 in 6 can be skinned. wolves are not included I can skinn them every time but their hide is useless

Currently we are aware of an issue which results in players being able to skin some of the animals only when they are standing on top of their heads. Can you try to check if the skinning option appears if you place your character near/on top of the animals head the next time you cannot skin animal and let us know here?

And with the carabine you need 2-3 shoots on 200 m to kill I don't know if that's intended

We have confirmed the issue with deers not being skinnable and it has been scheduled for a fix. As for the damage, this will be addressed when the old damage system is replaced and balanced.
