I wear ghillie all the time, but i have seen this bug once before, hyperthermia your face is melting and you go completely grey and can die.

This is because you are too hot, and the server settings are middle of summer. Do try this, it might balance out your temp.
Gorka outfit, balaclava, ghillie complete, highcap vest (no backpack) glasses (never tried) armband tried.

Go sit in the water for some time, until you get to soaked. You still are getting hot while running, but try to keep it damp or soaked.

I know you know this, but i am letting you know this is working for me. If your freezing don't worry by the time you run it off you will turn to damp, i never saw hypo or hypothermia with this outfit. It is possible it can happen if your in the water way to long, and or not wet.

I do remember what your saying here, as it did happen to me as i spawned in; Went grey right away, but haven't seen it since.

This could be because i was thirsty red? don't know but it may have something to do with the water content after logging in and out a couple of times.

I know about drenching and run it dry. I was completely healthy, enegyzed and half hydrated when I logged in after the patch. It even scared me till my bones :D
But did not happen again. Still a very strange and scary bug :D

I am pretty sure it was a ttsko pants, high capicity olive vest and a green raincoat/(or green gorka uniform, but sure it was green raincoat)

and to this I for sure had my ghilli suit on. all green mossy

The issue is caused by the ghillie suits. Since you mention your character had one, then the issue is already scheduled for a fix.
