Hey, I encountered some bugs with these vehicles. Sorry for not opening a ticket for each, I hope it helps nevertheless. Repro steps are just included if necessary. Some probably will be fixed with the new player controller. Everything happened on an experimental server.
#1 The car menu language is mixed (german and English). See: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=845696326
#2 When driving with the Sedan over a small red schoolbag the car got stuck on top of the schoolbag. It was unable to be driven until I removed the schoolbag. See: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=845681523
#3 (Minor bug). Sedan stops when shifting to N. Repro steps: 1. Shift to first gear and don’t step on the gas 2. Shift to N 3. The car stops. This is not realistic. It was tested on horizontal ground.
#4 Sedan and V3S: The sound of these cars does not feel realistic. Easy to hear when driving at higher speed in third gear and then shifting down to second gear. (The engine sound of the V3S even stutters sometimes).
#5 Sedan and V3S: Getting out with doors closed. Repro steps: 1. Sit in car with doors closed 2. Scroll mouse wheel and select “open door” 3. Move mouse so the menu changes and you are able to click “get out” (don’t do it) 4. Close door via mouse wheel (do not move mouse after this) 5. “get out” option is still available, click it. Works with every door. See (pretty dark, sorry. You should see the player inside the door) : http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=845688183
#6 V3S: Headlights almost not shining. You only see the light beam caused by them. They were pristine and I detached and attached them. See: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=845692017
#7 Sedan: Here the headlights are better, but if you move close to the car you do not see them shine anymore. See: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=845693140
#8 (Minor bug). Sedan + V3S: The camera sets back when you get out of the car. Probably works with every car. It could be annoying in high stress situations.
#9 Sedan: The headlights are almost not visible during daytime. Compare this (light on): http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=845679166
To this (lights off): http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=845696326
#10 Sedan + V3S: Both cars have no door collision detection. Repro steps: 1. Drive with open door 2. Drive near object (tree, other car, etc.) See: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=845698384
#11 Sedan: When driving through a bush, the camera sets to this position: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=845699352
#12 V3S: When driving over an object with medium speed, you can see the front left wheel glitching through the car fender (did not test with right front wheel). See: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=845722006
Other things I noticed:
You are able to drive through small bushes without them changing in any way. This is not realistic.
Driving with only two wheels should not be possible (Sedan) : http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=845719372
When driving through high grass, you can see the grass through the bottom of the car (tested with Sedan). I hope this won’t make it to the final version of DayZ.
The mid wheel of the V3S does not interact with objects when you drive over them (tested with small red schoolbag). The front wheel and the back wheel do (they lift).
When driving at higher speeds my fps dropped (third person). In first person view it was much smoother.
Zombies are just glitching and sometimes don't collide with your car when you drive them over.
Wolves behaved pretty weird: At first they ignored me when i drove near them. When i got out of the car they started to chase me, even when i reentered the vehicle (Sedan). Probably more testing required.
