I played with my friend and if he picked some new gear and changed it on, the change didnt show on my screen. Example he changed backpack and on my screen he had the same backpack as before. Same with pants and shirts etc visual.
Sometimes the change did show and sometimes not. And same think on his screen with my gear.

Yeah a friend said I had a shovel on my back when I actually had a splitting axe. Might be server performance related.

When your friend picked up the new items, was he in your line of sight / network bubble, or has he been somewhere distant and met up with you upon picking the items up?
