@Killerdawg17, could you try verifying the integrity of the game cache. If you are using third-party mods then disable them. If neither of those suggestions fixes the issue then please prepare and upload a troubleshooting report for the developers to review.
Launcher > Options > Prepare Arma 3 Troubleshooting report
@Jawsh , Yes I have verified the integrity of the game cache and I do not have any third-party mods, also the troubleshooting report ZIP file does not want to upload to the "Additional infomation" box, I have also uninstalled Arma 3 from my computer and reinstalled it 2 times already, to make sure that the download was not bad or anything like that.
@Killerdawg17, would you be able to upload the troubleshooting report to a free file sharing service such as Dropbox and then link to it below?
@Jawsh , Sure thing just give me a little bit I need to install dropbox and then I will send you a link to the Dropbox.
Excellent!
I took a quick look at the arma3.rpt files inside and noticed that the following exception occurs each time:
Exception code: C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION at 01XXXXXX
@Killerdawg17, could you try the possible solutions listed here? You could skip "verify the integrity of the game cache using Steam." as you have already done so.
@Jawsh , "Steam integrity check" thing apparently just found something don't know what it is but I will see what it found and tell you what happens.
@Killerdawg17, my next suggestion would be to try using the profiling or development branches. See Arma 3 Steam Branches and What Is Dev-Branch? for more information. Do note that the development branch can contain large updates so avoid if you have limited bandwidth.
