Have you been able to check it out? Looks like some floating obejcts? or is it pure rendering? :o looks cool!

I could follow it in the sky for quite some time as i travelled down towards the coast. It fades in and out a bit but never really disappears. Not really sure what it is.

Hello StephenHarper and thank you for the report.
Is this visible also outside of the debug zone? And could you try to reproduce the issue on current experimental and provide us with coordinates of where does it appear to you?
Regards,
Geez

Will test, but forgive my ignorance. What is the debug zone? The terrain off the map with no objects?

Hello StephenHarper.
Yes, it is the area with no objects.

Hello Geez

Tried testing this out in the current experimental version as of 25 Nov 2016

Tested while playing on a first person server and at night. Travelled back to the same approximate location just off the north edge of the map within the Debug Zone and did not see the artifact previously observed.

I have not observed this artifact as of yet outside of the Debug Zone, within the playable map area.

I was unable to test this in 3rd person or in daytime. I try again and obtain a screen shot with location.

Hello Geez

I continued to test this yesterday. Moved character to approximate same location as before, this time during the day, though unfortunately late afternoon/early evening. I was unable to observe the artifact in the sky.

Unsure of this however looking back at my screen shot you can see the glare circles shifting off to the left of the character and progressively getting smaller back towards the artifact. I suspect that perhaps the artifact is an incorrect rendering of the sun?

Also, I have not seen this occurring within the playable map area.

Hello StephenHarper.
If you can provide us with the coordinates of the spot you are testing in, we could test it during different server times and see if it is affected by the time of the day.
Regards,
Geez

Hello Geez

I returned to the approximate area where i encountered the artifact. I have attached a screen shot with my location/position. I should add, that when i encountered this artifact i could follow it as i travelled east along the edge of the map within the debug zone. Ie, the exact location was not specific.

Hello StephenHarper.
We have checked the location during all possible server times, but unfortunately we were unable to reproduce the issue. Can you please let us know in case the issue appears on the current stable or experimental versions?
Regards,
Geez
