Okay, so rangefinder is an old issue on Dayz.

On last builds, we had a rangefinder not displaying a correct distance over 6 to 8m.

So now, on .61, rangefinder might not be working at all. Using a full pristine battery (licking indicates "battery feels pretty fully charged") and a pristine rangefinder, the last is not working at all. First, it seems to be considered a weapon (The "EMPTY" option is avalaible), second, using the option "Mesure range" does nothing (e.g. the option will not even disappear when you press F to mesure the range) and no range is displayed.
