Steps To Reproduce
  1. attatch Pistol Flashlight to Pistol
  2. Add Battery to Flashlight and turn ON
  3. Drop the Flashlight (not the Pistol)
  4. remove Batery

Does the issue occur with the vicinity icon only, or does the flashlight glow even when you place it into characters hands without the battery?

as you can see in the background the Flashlight is still projecting light on the Area in front of it

I tried it. Bug is still active in 0.61. Furtehermore you cant turn the wapon light on by hiting "L" even if its assigned in options.
