ALL vehicles spawn back to their original spawn point after few hours!
Tried with 3 busses, 2 offroad hatchback and 1 truck.
Tried during different times of the day, tried at different days.
Tried on DAYZ DE 4-030 and two other public stable servers.
The vehicles were NOT taken by other players!
I went back to the place where I found them and there they are, exactly as I found them in the first place! Without the gear I put in and without any parts I attached!
It doesn't matter if you log out inside or outside the vehicle nor where your leave the vehicle.
DAYZ version is: 0.60.133913

- Find any vehicle.
- Put on all the parts needed.
- Drive away
- Leave the car anywhere and log out.
- Wait for a couple of hours.
- Log back in.
- See that vehicle is not where you left it.
- Run back to the spot where you first found the vehicle.
- See that the vehicle is there again but without any parts you put on or gear you left inside (as if you never drove it away, which proves that it was not taken by any other player).
Already tried to fix broken DAYZ files via steam - no result.
Run synchronization between steam cloud and local files - no result
Definitely a major issue due to the fact that after 0.60 update vehicles are a really nice thing again!

Hello Blackie and thank you for the report.
This is an issue we are aware of, it has been fixed internally and should be fixed on Steam soon.
Regards,
Geez
Hi Geez,
would you by any chance be able to tell me after this has been fixed on steam, because it is not until that point of time that I want to play dayz again due to the fact that I really need a persistent car in my current in-game situation ;)
Regards,
Blackie
Hello Blackie.
The issue should be fixed once the next experimental patch is released. In case the issue will appear on there, please let us know.
Regards,
Geez
Well in that case I probably have to cope with some month of waiting I think ;) But nevertheless thank you very much for the quick info.
By the way, one thing I forgot to mention was that I experienced the same issue with a small civilian tent. I set it up, put gear in, went away. After a couple of hours I logged back in and the tent was gone.. It happened on a public server with an average population of maybe 2-3 players, so the odds are very little that another player took it.
As I now know there are currently some issues with persistence most of which you are already aware of. So I thought to inform you about that one just in case.
Regards,
Blackie
