Attach crossbow bolts to crossbow.
Store crossbow in tent.

Difficult to say, from my tests so far, what period of time is required for the despawning to occur. Best guess; 7 days

Many guns also have this issue, magnums and repeaters i believe. You know you loaded them before you stored them in the tents, now they disappeared. Seen it 100times already.

We have been testing this internally but so far we cannot reproduce the issue you have described and it should not be possible for items to disappear from containers as they depend on the lifetime of the container. If you (or anyone else) have more specific reproduction steps and approximate reproduction rate (for example, the chambered ammo has disappeared from 10/10 weapons etc.), please post it into this ticket as it could help us in reproducing the issue.
