Memory could not be written / read error [Windows 10] DayZ .60
New, NormalPublic

Description

Hey everyone. I've been having an issue running DayZ today and can't seem to figure out what is up. I've seen this error before and in the past I have just closed out AMD's Gaming Evolved app. Don't know why, but it was causing issues before. I've tried just about everything this time around and I can't keep the game up for more than 5 minutes without the error/crash. I'm simply trying to play the game and run PlayTV to record sessions.

So far i've:
-Validated the game cache
-Scanned system files (passed)
-Manually changed HDRPrecision from 1 to 8 (Recommended in another thread)
-Reinstalled DayZ
-Ran Memtest86 (passed)
-Changed parameters in dayz.cfg
-Someone mentioned deleting a iPHLPAPI.dll file located in the Steam folder, but the only one I had was in my sys32 folder...which I would imagine wouldn't be smart to remove.

A quick fix I DID come across is to run the game in Windowed mode, but that doesn't make any sense and it still cant be maximized.

I'm at a loss so if anyone has encountered this issue before and managed to fix it, I'd love to know what you did.

I have this problem as well. No problems before the latest small patch the other day.
Windows 10 as well but the problem does not go away when playing windowed mode.
Can play for about 10 minutes or so before crash.

16GB RAM
i53550K
Nvidia GeForce GTX 660Ti

Have tried all of the steps described by vinylscraps05 but no change.
The game is currently more or less unplayable for me.

Edit:
After some further testing I'm inclined to think this has to do with server load. Or at least in my case. I played without any crashes what so ever on a near empty server for well over an hour. As soon as I log in to my regular server, which is almost always full, crash galore.
