(Apex) t_ficus_big_f.p3d appears very light green at distance with standard video settings

OBS:
With textures set to standard, tree t_ficus_big_f.p3d appears to be light green colour when viewed from distance. When viewed from closer it appears the expected dark green.
Once it has been viewed from close (high detail LOD gets loaded), the tree appears dark green at all distances as expected.

EXP:
LODs should be very similar is size, shape and colour. Changes between LODs should be as subtle and inconspicuous as possible.

Steps To Reproduce
  1. Open mission editor.
  2. Place player as soldier in a location without any rainforest, such as grid 115028.
  3. Preview mission.
  4. Pause. In video settings, change textures settting to Ultra.
  5. Then change it to standard. This purges all high detail textures, then the game loads only the textures it needs for the current viewpoint.
  6. Close video settings.
  7. Open splendid camera.
  8. Move camera up. Observe distant rainforest on the hills surround Lijnhaven. Note light green t_ficus_big_f.p3d models.
  9. Move camera towards any t_ficus_big_f.p3d. Observer it change from light green to dark green.
