If a player steps over a bear trap, their player will never stop moaning until death. But instead of fixing this bug, painkillers can now have a perfect use in DayZ, and the only way to stop a wounded player is to use painkillers. This could expand the usage of medical items in DayZ.

A workaround for this is to bear trap yourself again, and your leg will go from "Sprained Ankle" to "Chipped Leg" so then you can splint/morphine it away.
