When i was fighting someone i noticed how holding a pistol while running makes you go excruciatingly slower than someone with any two handed gun or no gun at all. We tested it, with all pistols and all rifle we could find, taking in account the Kilograms (if that even does anything) and what the character is wearing.

Steps To Reproduce
Run side to side with someone, you can choose all combinations, both with pistol, one with pistol other with rifle, you name it. It will easily be found that you go unreasonably slower than someone with a much larger weapon or no weapon.
Note: the weapon must be in your hands.
