Screen Resolution Problem
New, NormalPublic

Description

I am having a screen resolution problem and that is my monitor is a 1920x1200 but I want to run 1920x1080 like I could for .59, that way when I stream there will be no black bars on the sides of the stream. It doesn't even give me the option the select it, there or only 16:10 ratios showing or windowed mode and I really don't want that since you get less frames and can not control brightness. Just let me pick the size I want...

I have the same problem. I'm also using 1920x1200 monitor. For streaming I would like to set 1920x1080, but there are only 16:10 aspect ratio resolutions available in the menu.
Please add more choices to the User Interface.

Workaround:
Set the desktop resolution to 1920x1080 and start the game. The "Resolution" menu will show 16:9 aspect ratio resolutions. Choose one an click Test Settings and Apply.

I see that it does that but then I have to keep doing that every time I want to play and then change it back so my desktop doesn't look messed up, dumb. I can change it in the config file but then it turns my second monitor black like everyone else. I think they push this stuff to quick because they were feeling the heat of all the delays they kept having and pushed it to stable before fixing it totally. Every other game I play allows me to pick my resolution regardless of my ratio, DayZ should be not exception to the rule; some times I feel like they don't care about the players and just do what ever they want and do take the time to make the game more enjoyable for us.

Hey Devs, is there any plan correcting this issue?
I reported this bug almost a year ago (https://feedback.bistudio.com/T115662) and it's still there.
