I was using a repeater today in .60 experimental and everytime I reloaded manually by pressing R a single round appeared in my inventory. I guess the bullets have not been used up, but instead just went from the gun back to the inventory.

The bullets then could be reloaded again and combined with others. The same problem has been mentioned under "Infinite Ammo" earlier on.
Hello waldm3nsch and thank you for the report.
This is an issue we are aware of and it has been scheduled for a fix.

I had the Trumpet and was having the same issue. When I hit R the ammo would go into my bag. I also had the repeater and it did what the OP said and the only way to get the next reload was to add the ammo to my hotbar. The reload animation on the Trumpet was a full reload before I could use it again. If I recall you used to get the next shot by just hitting the fire button but that doesn't work at all even if the gun has more bullets already inside.
Hello waldm3nsch.
The issue has been fixed internally and should be fixed on Steam soon.

Geez
