Lander in constant correction loop
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

I started the Dunes of dark sand mission at Kaiser Crater and accidentally pushed either the APXS or the EAS to far down and it pushed my lander up which made it slide down. Now the lander is stuck in a loop of correcting it self. What I mean is, it will land, slide down, fly up, re-correct itself, land, slide down and repeat.

Start Dunes of dark sand mission at Kaiser Crater

Push either APXS or EAS down to far (it will lift the lander up) and the lander will start sliding.

Additional Information

My suggestion for a fix would be to have the lander land on a flat surface or give me an off switch for the thrusters.

I couldn't attach the save for whatever reason so I uploaded it to Mediafire.

Well, this is common problem with all landers, unfortunately in this mission is it most obvious.

The landers have problems to land on slopes in general, with thrusters malfunctions, the situation gets even worse.

The solution could be the implementation of manual landing coming in next patch. Also the automatic landing should get some tweaking in future.
