Even right from launch if I am standing in the middle of a field with NOTHING around, I hear doors slamming and what sounds like a chain link fence. It is almost like the audio just plays in a loop, I do hear the infected when I come up on them and it does go away when I leave, but i do not hear other players foot steps or breathing. It makes it really difficult when i am in a city since i always hear doors slamming. It does it all over the map.

Really? I have watched streamers and I don't hear it on theirs. the sound runs in a loop so every 15 seconds I hear a door slam (like I am standing next to it). I could probably deal with it but my biggest issue is i do not hear other players. I can hear them talk to me but i do not hear their person. I have watched a person load a gun right in front of me and didn't hear it, then if they run around me i will not hear their footsteps. That has got me killed in game a lot.
