Repeated and easily repeatable instances of items (weapons and storage containers) dropped or placed under trees disappear instantly. Barrels dropped in small bushes remain visible but do not come up in the inventory screen and there is no way of interacting with them. Several of my friends repeatedly and regularly experience precisely this same behaviour.

Steps To Reproduce
Drop barrels in small bushes or under trees. Drop ammo boxes under pine trees. Drop weapons or other items under trees, especially pine trees. Mainly occurred on DayZ AU 2-* servers, where we normally play, but I believe we have experienced it on other servers as well.

I think this is a major bug that potentially will cause frustration, so I thought I should report it.

I should have added that this appears to be a regression: I remember this occurring for a little while in a previous release (but I don't recall the version) before being patched and corrected. Perhaps the earlier fix needs to be merged into the 0.59 trunk?

Added a screen shot of a borked barrel I placed under a tree. It still appears there but I cannot interact with it at all.
