Confirmed.

Another problem is:
the user interface is much bigger now. You cannot even the the player count in the server browser.

Hello insaneroy and thank you for the report.
Is your game resolution set to the same resolution as is the native resolution of your screen? If not, can you try and let me know how does the game look upon doing that?
Regards,
Geez

Of course I have the resolution set the same as the native resolution of my screen. The aspect ratio is wrong and there is no setting to adjust it.

Hello insaneroy.
Here are my own screenshots with correct aspect ratio,
Fullscreen: http://i.imgur.com/FC5Ys4o.jpg
Windowed: http://i.imgur.com/l2Ye0GV.jpg

if your character looks the same or very similar to the one on my screenshots, then it is very likely that your aspect ratio is correct. Can you please check?
Regards,
Geez

"The aspect ratio is wrong and there is no setting to adjust it."
He is obviously using the NEW UI and not the OLD UI.

Hello Paper26.
The screenshot which is attached to this ticket was from the old UI, so I assume the reporter is not talking about the new UI (the aspect ratio option has been removed from the old ui as well).
Regards,
Geez

That screenshot is taken on the old build .58

Take a new one of .59 and that should be looking better, upload to let us see to clarify if it looks correct.

Reason is as Geez mentioned, DayZ detects the correct Aspect Ratio for you accordingly to your resolution, .58 did not do that and hence why so many had awful screenshots.
