The Rangefinder was functional and worked properly before a recent update to the 0.59 Exp branch servers... Now the Rangefinder only measures up to 7m no matter how far you aim it, making it UN-usable/ineffective as of 12/7/15... It will however measure distances below 7m(Ex/6m...3m...etc.)I have tested it with different degrees of battery quality(Ex/Pristine...Worn...etc.) with no difference in the faulty measurements... As of right now any Rangefinder I find has this "Bug" and is currently "Broken".

Additional Information
I am a sniper and it is essential that the Rangefinder is fixed if I want a chance at hitting anything above 200m... I'm not used to guesstimating ranges so as of right now I and many other survivors will have trouble being accurate/effective at longer ranges....
