Pressing A/D in fast alternation allows you to run without footsteps
Acknowledged, WishlistPublic

Description

If you sprint and press A/D in fast alternation (not too fast but in the right rhythm) your character continues to sprint (a bit slower) but nearly no footstep noises can be heard.

It's tricky to learn/control this technique but it could give an advantage in PvP situations.

I noticed this problem while pressing random keys on a long run. With a bit practice I could run for longer distances without making much noise.

I did not try if other players also do not hear the running sound when you use this technique.

A video is attached to demonstrate the process:

First I do the key pressing without a gun in my hands => footsteps can be heard.
Then I pull out the Winchester and need some seconds to find the rhythm but then the difference is obvious.
