As I stated in the summary, I am unable to take off the handguard on the AKM, AK 74 and AKS-74U. Need to be able to put on the handguard rail I think to be able to put on the Atlas Bipod, atleast it doesn't work with the handguard that the gun spawns with.

Just try and take of the handguard or swap it with a another one.

Try emptying your hands, put AK on shoulder, double click the handguard to be removed. It should move to your hands.
