I painted a Blaze with a Hunting Scope and a Mosin without attachments with green spraypaint. Both were loaded. The Mosin got loaded with a snaploader whereas the Blaze got loaded from a stack of bullets.

Both weapons were empty afterwards and the bullets were no where to be found.
The Hunting Scope was still there though.
