Wring Clothes
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

For example, my face mask and hat are "soaking wet".
I go inside a house to get out of the rain, drop mask and hat on floor, wring both of them to "Damp", then when I put them back on my character, they go back to "Soaking Wet".

Hello cs_wolf.
Did your character have any wetness status at the time? (Character status, such as hungry, thirsty etc).
Regards,
Geez

Yes, my character status was drenched.

When I took face mask and hat off my character, the character status would go one down from "drenched" to "wet", but when putting them back on it would go back to "drenched". The wringing did not take effect.

Hello cs_wolf.
The wringed items got wet due to your character being wet, as the character wetness partially transfers to the items you equip. As for the status dropping upon removal of the items and then raising again upon their equip, currently the overall wetness (character status) is a sum of character wetness and all equipped items wetness value. Therefore even damp items can raise the character wetness status. This will possibly be changed in upcoming stages of development.

Geez
