Description

Met a guy who could punch/shoot at us, while lagging by pulling the cable to the router and plug it back in.
Demonstration and Explanation by a guy in this video:

Doesn't actually work, get no message recieved error and none of my actions do anything. This guy was either just on a laggy server or it's staged.

I recorded the video by myself. My buddy can also confirm this behaviour. He walked further with that guy and he did this trick on and on with random people on the server. Server performance was okay for us two. No lag or desync between us. Just this guy doing this thing.

Got no message received when trying to reproduce resulting in timeout or nothing.

Can confirm the action in the video happend like shown. He did this with punches, using melee weapons and using bow and arrow.

maybe you can't directly pull out the cable but deactivate the internet in the router settings, so that the connection to the router still remains active but no packages are sent to the server. And the router resends them when becoming back active
