I had a couple of the new "false duplicate" items, as I double clicked on it I ended up crashing.

It was a memory error of some kind.

On the double click thing - My mouse is a bit funky atm so the left click can get spammed badly 3-4 times sometimes - You'll see an example when I accidentally pick up a rain coat, seen in this separate issue - #27291
So it may have been a crazy fast quadruple click for all I know. I know it may have played no part but it may be worth mentioning.
