I believe this messages appeared after my hard drive had filled up as a result of recording dayz, ever since it's been popping up before the game launches.
Since then, I've downloaded new versions of exp and verified the games local cache but to no change (HDD is not full anymore either).
In addition to this but the source of the problem is the same; if a HDD fills up while playing (recording to same drive as install), the users controls/keybinds will return to default and will continue to do so until the recording has stopped and there is more room made on the HDD.
I hope that is too unclear, if you would like clarification on anything mentioned please ask.
Thanks!

Hi K-2,
To begin with, could you try deleting the "C:User\XYZ\Documents\DayZ\DayZ.cfg.3D_Performance" file and then verifying the game cache?
Regards,
JStewart
Hey JS, yes that cleared the warning, but I actually jumped the gun and deleted the entire directory instead of just that file. Sorry if that's an inconvenience but thank you either way.
