poisoned by "pristine" cooked deer steak

Description

Cooked 4 deer steaks, all to "pristine" and "cooked" status.
Ate two with no problem. A day later, when I ate one of the 2 remaining steaks I got a "You have a funny taste in your mouth" messages.

It appears one of my steaks poisoned me, very similarly to eating a burned deer steak. However, none of my steaks appeared burned or ruined.

Attempt cooking multiple deer steaks and eating them.

Additional Information

Did not drink anything to get this condition, it was 100% from eating cooked deer steaks.
