Smersh vest is non-repairable. Both pieces will default their cond. to lowest cond., making it impossible to match 2 items.
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Problem 1: A smersh vest is non-repairable from either the sewing kit or the leather sewing kit.

Problem 2: After searching for hours for a pristine smersh vest/backpack and combining it with the damaged accessory I already had I then discovered that the pristine item will default to damaged, which is odd but still understandable. This brings me to point with problem 1, I can not repair the full unit back to worn condition as the smersh vest is non-repairable.

This almost makes the combo piece of the smersh vest and backpack useless as you would have to carry around a pristine piece until you find the other pristine piece if you wish to maintain the pristine quality, this would be near impossible.

Steps To Reproduce

Step 1, find a smersh vest/backpack in any condition.
Step 2, find the counterpart to the first item, combine them.
Step 3, detach the backpack from the vest when taken damage and attempt to repair.
Step 4, find pristine or worn vest/backpack and attach it to the counterpart until you are able to repair the backpack or replace the backpack/vest.
Step 5, detach backpack from vest and notice your previous worn/pristine item is now damaged as well.

Additional Information

Taking this into considering you would either need to carry one of the items in your bag until you find another piece in pristine or worn condition or rather be able to repair both items accordingly in respect to the fact they will become damaged with attached together making it necessary to carry a sewing kit and a leather sewing kit.
