I noticed it takes a full 0.3 sec to go from your initFoV (0.85?) to the minFov (0.4143?).
In ARMA 3, the zoom goes from the initFoV (0.75) to the minFov (0.375) in only 0.2 seconds, 50% faster. This small change results in the zoom feeling much more responsive and snappy.
Since the two levels of zoom represent our real-life vision capabilities, and in real life we are both "zoomed in" and "zoomed out" at the same time, at all times, there's no reason why it should be a slow process. In a tense situation the slow zoom is just wasted time.
It would be nice to have this zoom sped up to A3 levels or close to that... as long as this change is made WITHOUT reducing the final zoom, without increasing the minFov. The increased eye zoom in 0.58 is more realistic, more comparable to A3, lets you see things at a more realistic scale and a very nice improvement from 0.57.
