If I can lick battery to learn how much juice is in them, how is posible that I can't weight a Gas Canister?

Place two Gas Canisters into inventory and try to quess which one is worth takin' with you on the road and which one will deplete after a few minutes.

I'm pretty sure experimental already has the % of gas displayed.
