if you have a jacket or other type of container inside clothing or backpack when all other available slots are full or the wrong size items you take by mouseover will go into their empty slots. You can view items inside but if you remove the second container from your inventory it cannot be replaced until it is emptied. So far I can confirm it happens with jacket or trousers inside jacket and cooking pot in Press vest .
