Under no circumstances am I able to craft rags

Description

Tearing any shirt or clothing item into rags causes it, and the rags I have 'crafted', to completely disappear. I get a notification my crafting was successful but I do not get any rags what so ever from the process. Even if I have placed the clothing item in my inventory beforehand, The rags still don't show up.
