I search for apples from a tree, after a while I check my inventory and only say 4 apples are shown when I have picked at least 12. If I move an item in my inventory to a different slot some of the missing apples suddenly appear. In another instance I had a T shirt in my trousers (trousers had 6 slots 5 were empty) after picking apples and finding most are missing from my inventory I split the T shirt into rags and the remaining 5 slots in the trousers were suddenly filled with apples. I found that trying to move an item to a slot in which an apple was invisible the move would not take place.
