AK-74 Wooden Handguard cannot be painted
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

I got my first AK-74 that I intended to keep (I usually prefer Mosin 9130 or SKS) and I wanted to customize it. I found a plastic buttstock and painted it green no problem. However, painting the Handguard does not seem to work. I wanted it to be green, but no option for green painting was given (as if I dragged it on to a non-paintable item), so I painted it black instead (Another issue, the texture of the Handguard seems not to have changed at all in the world, but it did in the menu). After this I tried using the green spraycan again. It was able to recognize paintability (i.e. the box turned the color it does when painting things) but I got a message saying that I could not paint the Handguard with this can. The can was at 50%, so maybe the bug is that it requires more than that amount. I know that it can be painted Camo because I have seem other players with Camo ones in-game. I have seen the green paint on the wiki, et cetera, but not in-game.
